Update:
Card stopped working after I flashed 3.02 BIOS. Now I get error code 10. Maybe I’ll just order a 32GB card.
May 7, 2016 at 4:26 pm #36363I am a total newbie. Forgive me if I am showing my ignorance. First would some one tell me how to tell which model I have?
I have notice that between different android version (e.g. 4.4, 5.0 and 5.1) their ability to read sd cards varies, even without considering the file formats (FAT32 vs exFAT or even the old FAT). Now when the extended capacity sd card is introduced (SD vs SDHC vs SDXC) the situation is worse!
Can some one briefly show me how to tell me what Teclast tablet model I have and also why certain android OS can allow app to be move to the SD and others don’t. I do know from having used different android tablets, ver 4.4 android seems to be more forgiving and it would let me move data and apps from the internal memory out to the sd and thereby freeing some internal memory to run the tablet.
Thank you for reading and helping me to learn.

Android 5.0 came with ‘security improvment’, such the inability for apps to access the sdcard… which is a kind of shame.
Fat32 = old Fat (unless you speak about fat16).

May 18, 2016 at 10:33 pm #37871You said the “SD works flawlessly”. Please tell me if you are able to move any apps to the SD and the app still works? If so, did you use the application manager and “move to SD card” function?
