Android can read NTFS? I didn’t try formatting to that, maybe I’ll give it a go. Saying that I need the extra storage more for windows so maybe I should just leave it alone whilst its working for windows.

Android SD in exFAT does not see, sees NTFS. In the WIN sees anyway. In NTFS everything is fine is written and read.

    Hello
I formatted my SD card (64 GB) to NTFS. It works with Android. It is finally recognized! Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately this does not work with Windows 10. The launch of Windows with my unrecognized card, last too long!
Is there an Internet link to upgrade my bios or drivers? My version is K9C3
    Thank you

I have 64GB Kingston Class 10 microSDHC card. It has always worked in Windows and is never recognized in Android. I tried formatting the card to exFAT, NTFS and FAT32. None of them are recognized by Android.

    It’s a real headache!
    1) With a SanDisk SD HC (16GB) formatted with FAT, it is recognized by Windows 10 but not Android
    2) The same card, but 32GB: it is not recognized by Windows 10 not with Android!
3 With Verbatim SD XC (64GB) formatted to NTFS, it is recognized by android but not Windows 10!
We must wait for a new update (bios, driver, etc.) or change the tablet?
    Patience……. ?

    Hello Chris
I inserted a new 32 GO micro SD card (Samsung). I have formatted to NTFS. It works with Windows 10 and also with Android! Again thank you for your help.
But why other micro SD are not compatible with Windows 10 and Android?
Is a Driver issue with Windows 10 that has not changed? Or is this related to the tablet?

Glad it’s working for you. No idea why others don’t work, its a standard connection so you would think everything would work or nothing would work. Have you tried other cards since upgrading the bios and formatting to NTFS? That seems to be the combination to get it working

You wrote “Have you tried other cards since upgrading the bios and formatting to NTFS?” : No I have not tried.
I thought I had the latest Bios: “K3C6”. There is a later version?
Sorry for my poor English !

    I am sorry my card is a Kingston 64GB microSDXC card UHS-1 Speed class 3 U3 (SDCA3/64GB).

The annoying thing is that, after I reformat the card to NTFS and plug it into an external SD card reader (with microSD plug), Android recognizes the card – but it cannot write to it.

I tried installing Int-SD fixer to try to fix the write access, but it failed to install on Android 5.1. SDFix needs root access therefore cannot be installed either. I know these apps are for KitKat write problem but don’t tell me I didn’t give them a try.

Does the sd card work in any other computers? Those sd fix apps wont do anything for this problem. Are you running latest bios and did you format in windows to NTFS? If you can’t write or format the card in windows then the card is probably corrupted.
