First flash Android and then Windows. If you still have Android and just want to reflash Windows. Just download the Windows images part1 and part 2. USB1 is named WINRE and format it fat32 copy all of the folder from USB1 to the root of the fat32 memory stick, the other place the USB2 images folder in it and make sure its NTFS. boot into the bios (esc button on boot) and then the boot menu and load the WINPE usb drive you made, it will then do the rest. Takesa bout 15 minutes and mine was activated one setup. This is the image with English and Chinese. The Overseas model Chuwi call it. MY serial ends in 16XX over 1200 I think is the overseas model. Anyway this is the English image you’ll need anyway, if your model us a domestic Chinese on and your seller install English on the 8.1 Bing image, it might not active! But install Windows 10 and it will activate it.
can I format my tablet from the recovery menu on Win 8.1 and then reinstall android ? if I do, can you explain me how ?
I reinstalled succsesfully with USB1 named “WINPE”, USB2 named “winpe”.
December 29, 2015 at 6:05 pm #20424Hello,
I did a fresh Win10 install from scratch. Reformatted the drive and merged into one partition. Most of the functions are gone, not touch screen, sound, wifi, sensors …, I already tried to install a drivers a first few time manually – > bootloop, the rest of my tries with double driver – minor success but mostly not works as expected so I want to rebuild the factory OS (Android + Win8.1).
Downloaded the drivers and re-create a partitions (“Images” as drive “m”) reinstall Win8.1 with Bing… but the drivers are still not works fine.
This is the current stage, any help appreciate !
Type: Vi10 Serial: Q3222150900xxx
Thanks,
Tamas

Follow this guide, but before flashing, replace the RemixOS files with a stock rom.

But ONLY starts the flashing process with the “newer” bios. The new bios not compatible with the Windows install, the old bios not compatible with the Android flash.. 🙁
