Works fine. Only one bug, google play games not working.
Remix smoother and a little bit faster than original rom.

Thanks!
November 12, 2015 at 6:42 am #15620Question: I downloaded the install file and description how to install Remix OS. Just wondering is this for the 32GB model or for the 64GB model? Or does it not matter? I have a 32GB one. Thank you for reading and looking forward to a response.
November 12, 2015 at 5:37 pm #15668Okay, I took the plunge and installed Remix OS. Thought it was 1.5 but ended up being Remix OS 1.0. Nevertheless it runs very smooth and the screen is crystal clear!
Any news about Remix 1.5 or 2 for Chuwi Vi10?
November 12, 2015 at 5:38 pm #15669Successfully rooted Remix OS 1.0. Everything working smoothly! Changed the DPI to 148 but I am thinking of changing it back to 160. (160 DPI looks better to me.)
Successfully updated to the latest Windows 10 Version 1511 OS Build 10586.3 No problems and everything (well almost everything, except the SD-Card) works smoothly.
Formatted the micro SD-Card to NTFS and works well between to the two OS’.
Small problem with Windows and the SD-Card. At times Windows does not Read the SD-Card, then I have to restart Windows and everything is okay again.
Is there perhaps a more permanent and less irritating fix? Thanks

December 10, 2015 at 6:12 pm #18129Hello Laurence,
I just followed the instructions on this site
http://techtablets.com/forum/topic/chuwi-vi10-root-attempts/
Just make sure you have USB debugging enabled. Check the tablet for permission prompts.
Good luck.

Sounds very interesting. Can I ask:
- I assume Remix OS loses the ‘Switch OS’ button in Quick Settings?
- Is there full read / write access to the NTFS formatted micro SD card in Remix OS?
January 4, 2016 at 10:20 pm #21230iirc, you don’t lose the ability to switch OS. I didn’t test ntfs card reading, but there is an app that allows android devices to reads ntfs/hfs formatted cards. It works quite well and is free (in app purchases), I recommend it.

For those wondering, it seems that you can read / write to a NTFS formatted card natively with Remix OS – at least, as reported here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=64634853&postcount=675
