So what will NOT work so don’t bother with those:
- Restarting & or reattaching …or booting into BIOS or safe mode ..things & combination involving aforementioned
- Turning of Filter Keys in accessibility section
- Refreshing Windows …even complete refresh (which removes your personal files & applications)
What may work
- Turning off fast boot in the battery/power management section (google it)
- Force reinstalling HID USB input drivers (in the attachment these are two separate folders)
- Force reinstalling HID-compliant mouse & HID-compliant keyboard
By force reinstalling I mean right-click the INF file in each respective folder & choose Install …then refresh Device Manager …detach/attach of keyboard may be required but in my case wasn’t necessary
