thanks, I fixed the Android, now drain from here and proceed to the installation of win 10 .. although I seemed to understand that it is complicated. what I can not understand is, is that installing Android, for the windows partition disappeared? as I check? if both disappeared THANK YOU
September 16, 2016 at 2:45 am #49869When you lost your Android, the only way you could have repaired that (as you did) would be via recovery. According to their instructions, recovery of Android will destroy W10 (not necessarily wiped, just messed up the MBR I guess). You should be able to confirm that by only seeing one option in your dual boot, which is android.
The reinstall of W10 is straightforward (copy files to the usb, boot from it, and you will need a usb hub for a keyboard I think) albeit painfully slow. Just remember it will failed to reboot the first time after installation complete…. try a couple of times.
September 16, 2016 at 10:50 am #49885User kaljo provided with this G-drive link that contains the windows 10 image for this tablet. I used this when I tried resetting my tablet and it got stuck at 5%

If you already reinstalled Android: Download the first 4 files and unzip them together into one folder. Copy those to a USB drive (I used an 8GB one), You’re going to need to use a USB hub because you need both the USB drive and a keyboard plugged in. When you turn on the tablet, you need to press F7 until the boot menu appears and you can select to boot from the USB drive. Windows will install automatically. Once installed, your dual boot menu should reappear and work.
September 16, 2016 at 12:02 pm #49889curiosity. you think you can install Windows 10 anniversary from a DVD player connected via a hub?

September 19, 2016 at 2:17 pm #50183Hello everyone, I finally installed everything now works both Android and Windows 10, now if I upgrade to win 10 anniversary as I should do to make sure that does not break new Android ?

September 20, 2016 at 2:08 am #50206Hi everybody,
I have got a C2D6 model (why has Teclast so many different models around???) and I am struggeling a bit with the following:
- Can I use the TWRP from C2D4 also for C2D6?
- Can I use the described C2D4-related mechanism to root the tablet also?
- If not – has anyone got an idea how to root the C2D6 tablet?
Got my broken android reinstalled with the package for the C2D6 on page 8 of this thread. Works like a charm as long as you do not have blanks in the path to the files. Setting the chinese language setting back to a european one was the biggest challenge since it is quite a different alphabet. Now I am setting up windows again … fingers crossed the WINPE setup for C2D4 also works for C2D6 – espacially the partition layout. Even though the generic description states differently, there is no need for a USB keyboard, since touch works in the BIOS.
Some shortcuts:
Boot into Bios directly after tablet has been switched off: Press PowerOn together with Vol+ for 5 seconds, then release only the PowerOn. Hold Vol+ for about 5 seconds longer.
Boot into DNX fastboot directly after tablet has been switched off: Press PowerOn together with Vol- and Vol+ for 5 seconds, then only release PowerOn. Hold Vol- and Vol+ about 5 secondes longer.
September 20, 2016 at 3:31 am #50208- Can I use the TWRP from C2D4 also for C2D6? -> yes
- Can I use the described C2D4-related mechanism to root the tablet also? -> yes
both worked for me

September 20, 2016 at 2:14 pm #50263Hi All,
After installing the OTA on Android, i can’t boot into Android anymore. Windows is working fine
Do you have a solution ?Thinks ,
September 20, 2016 at 8:26 pm #50300OTA installation crashes the system. You have to backup your windows in case you have something important to store and then reinstall the whole tablet. My tablet also has got a complete reinstallation as well as lots of others here in the forum. Check this thread, you can find several descriptions how to reinstall. But be aware about your model (printed on the back side)… for C2D6 variant there is only one package avilabe that fits. You can get it on page 8 of the thread. For C2D4 there are multiple. YOu also have to download the windows WINPE archive, that will get also reinstalled. So in total about 8 GB data to download, ~7 for windows, ~1 for Android.
Annoying? Yes, for sure, but you will make it. Good luck!
