https://www.wimsbios.com/amiflasher.jsp On some russian forum I found that bios of k9c6 was successfully updated via afuwin flasher v. 5.504 There are some not answered questions about update from v. 1 to dual boot bios for k9c3. Anyone can share experience if this flasher could be used for upgrade, please?
I had the same update problem with my K9C3 using teclast tools (No teclast Pad, newest version bios installed). I ve managed to update bios to 1.05 K9C3 using fptw.exe (i ve extracted it from X98Pro-V1.00V1.05.exe file using winrar).
The command i ve used is fptw.exe -F biosfilename.bin -BIOS (of course in console with administration rights on tablet). It was terrifying experience. After successful update i ve restart the tab and it didn t want to turn on for about 15-20min. Then suddenly it starts loading new bios with dualmode and starting dualmode menu.
So if someone want s to go this road, must remember do it at your own risk.
All the best

Lost camera, but dont need it.
Performance overall is good, on Mireks v1 rom android is great (antutu 6.0 78-80K).
I just disabled IGD Turbo in Bios. Now its stable.

did not work for me…
Are you sure that some letters should be capital?
Maybe files should be located at system 32 folder?

No i didnt place it in system folder. I just named the folder as Y and place there all files from extracted exe. What message did You get?
If You type fptw.exe -? You will get all parameters for this command.
December 16, 2015 at 7:27 pm #18854December 17, 2015 at 6:27 am #18909To avoid any mistypes, I copied your command string.
Used Command prompt and run it as administrator , for ftpw.exe – answer was that it is unsupported program.
I tried ftpw64. exe it did not work, too. When I try run as administrator it switches to “system 32” forlder.I located bios and program forder there, but no results. I tried to use also program from link here attached, but also with no results.
Somewhere I seen that al letter cannot be capital (?) …Still no hint how to move it from dead point.
In some forum I found that

Did You use ftpw extracted from exe file that came with bios file or use once downloaded?
You should use one from extracted exe file.
Ive extracted it and upload to google drive: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7aaZbWjE-mEYlM2SFZaWmdSOEE/view?usp=sharing Try this one. Bios file is already renamed as bios.bin.
I dont think capital F has meaning (with -? you get -F<f>). If this doesnt work i dont know what to do next.
About battery life i get filling that it is better then before update but how much better mayby 10-20%.
December 17, 2015 at 7:25 am #18920Thanks, Will try your file in the evening- I just started my office hours.
However I have used files entirely from primary folder; will see in later.
From another side there were some- several visitors here with same complaint; could be more common reason why basic method did not work.

December 17, 2015 at 7:32 am #18922Maybe try to update to newest Windows. On start I get huge update to 1511.
Its odd. On some tablets work basic flashing program, on some only manual (ftpw.exe) on some none. Maybe bios chip is different.
December 17, 2015 at 7:47 am #18923I have reinstalled Windows (initially there was fully chinese versions, did not succeed to play with language packs) , all updates are done including your mentioned one.
Maybe some other flashing utility could help…

This information means that you do not run program (ftpw.exe) from it folder or you didn’t define path to ftpw.exe. The command should look like this:
<path1>/ftpw.exe -f <path2>/bios.bin -BIOS where <path1> is path where file ftpw.exe is stored and <path2> is place when bios.bin is stored.
The simplest method to do is to place both bios.bin and ftpw.exe in c:\ folder and execute from there (of course using command prompt as admin). But remember You do it at your own risk. -
