Hey John, i suggest you to install the Windows 8.1 image, windows 10 image works too. With those official images, you will have no drivers problem, those images have most drivers already installed. According to hardaware variants, you will have to install maybe sound driver or else, but basically the most importants drivers are installed (graphic, touch). With this method you will have absolutly no problems with drivers.
NOTE: Check your bios version, and VERY important, if you use Windows 10 images, rename your usb key WINPE or it won’t be detected.
December 13, 2015 at 1:32 pm #18414Hi Frederic,
On Wednesday I updated to W10. I got errors with the drivers so I just went back for 8.1. Now everything work. Do you think that i should reinstall W8.1 and then W10?
What about the license of your W10? Will I have any problems?
Thank you in advance.
P.D. Yes i have the good BIOS

December 13, 2015 at 2:56 pm #18424Why Chuwi do not share official drivers :/ so they do it in other companies
December 13, 2015 at 3:09 pm #18425John you went back to 8.1 with the images?
No, after updating is possible to go back using the folder windows.old. So I assume that now I am using the W8.1 that brings the Chuwi officially.
For me is not a problem install W8.1 and W10 with your images, but I don`t see why is neccessary install W8.1
Thank you!!!!!!

December 13, 2015 at 3:32 pm #18433John, OK i understand. Simply install the windos 10 images. Anyway, it will format everything, so put the files of windows 10 image on usb drive, rename it on WINPE, boot from usb and let everything install
December 13, 2015 at 3:37 pm #18435Ok, I will try when the download finish in 4 hours…
I have the BIOS J1D version. Should I configure the BIOS also as yours?
