Ive downloaded the files you ask for but they are for U801u?
Is this right?
October 18, 2015 at 7:21 pm #13561Sorry all – still downloading here – using chrome but had a few failed attempts, I’ll share as soon as I get them but at this stage I’d say it’ll be the morning!
October 19, 2015 at 8:18 am #13596Drivers upload server?
October 19, 2015 at 11:32 am #13606Hi all, I downloaded those and I’m totally confused now, they are the same as the ones Phillip posted, with Realtek wireless drivers. I was under the impression that the new serial used a broadcom board! But maybe I’m wrong, does anyone here have a new unit with a working wireless and a broadcom wireless card?
Let me know and thanks!
Dave
October 19, 2015 at 2:01 pm #13616I’m having the same problem. I thought it was fixed but now just seems broken again. I looked in the BIOS and it says I have a realtek wlan adapter onboard, but those drivers definitely don’t work. The broadcom driver is installed but breaks after the tablet sleeps.
I’m not really sure what to do. Any ideas?

Hi there,
If you do me a favour and use Double Driver to backup your wireless driver and send it to me, I’ll install it and see if I’m having the same issue. My BIOS also reports it as a Realtek but that may be a BIOS issue – defo something funny going on! I should have noted the hardware in device manager before I did the upgrade!
What has me confused is BIOS says Reatek, the latest drivers (for our model) have a Realtek driver and an older one at that (2014) but the working (or semi working ones like yours) with our serial number use a Broadcom driver!
Anyway if you want to try that?
Best,
Dave
October 19, 2015 at 6:33 pm #13627Here is the compressed backup of my wifi driver, using DD.

If this works for you I can backup my entire system (it is fully working now) should your SN match mine. I could even make it an exe (if you are trusting) if you really don’t know what you are doing.
Hope everyone gets theirs sorted. Apart from the trackpad on the keyboard I am nothing but impressed with this little thing. Battery life aside (charging too) it isn’t much worse than my other tablets over double the cost.

What number do you have? i have 221509.. I can’t fix my Touch/sound .. I tried everything.. someone help me out!
If you have the same number Ian, i’m glad to try it out :p
October 19, 2015 at 7:23 pm #13633I just tried your Wifi backup. Now my Wifi works perfectly.. before that it disabled itself when i closed my tablet. Now it’s fine.
If you could make a backup from the device manager, it would really help me .. because you sir are the only one that can help me right now.
Most ppl have older serials and stuff..
October 19, 2015 at 7:39 pm #13635Hey,
Yeah I am the same serial. I think the full backup is too big for the limit on this forum. Are you just missing touch and sound now? Have you tested your Gyro? Let me know and I will post another backup that should help you.
October 19, 2015 at 7:41 pm #13636And did you delete the old Wifi driver? Or did it overwrite and work? As the others have more things to delete in Device Manager..
October 19, 2015 at 7:45 pm #13637So i deleted the old driver in system32/drivers. Installed the new one.. worked like a charm, thanks to you.
Sound, touch and Light sensor is not working.
Which image did you install btw? I used the Hi8 image.. because it’s the only image where wifi seems to work..
When your drivers work i will use the Vi10 image.
October 19, 2015 at 7:52 pm #13638Ooh light sensor isn’t something I have tested. And I would need to get that working on mine! Firstly what is it? A brightness altering based on sunlight? I won’t have time to sort it in the next few days, I’ll assume it is not working on mine. I will post up the touch and sound in a minute or 10.
I used no images, just a win 10 upgrade then set about fixing the non working parts. Give me a minute..
October 19, 2015 at 7:55 pm #13639Light sensor is not that important 😀
I just hope i can get sound and touch fixed with your files ..
