Not sure what you mean by media. On the files I have uploaded they all want to go on.

If you want to try another method, not advisable if most of your stuff works, then this backup is of my entire system. Although everything works on mine your mileage may vary. I would recommend removing most things in Device Manager for those that want to try it.

Hi, someone can help me with problem on windows 8.1? I have lag when trying to install Intel BayTrail driver. Progress bar stuck on middle and windows get lag. Next boot is unsuccessful and need to reinstall system. With Double Driver backup is same problem. On Windows 10 almost all fine. But problem exists with windows 8.1.

Yes, I found solution. But it’s on Russian language.

After lots of trail-and-errors, I found a simple solution, you just have to run the platform installer from BayTrail-T_Entry_Driver_Package_BOM3.1_WW41_PR2.zip, but you have to run it UNDER SAVE MODE.

This issue can be solved by doing so under either 8.1 or 10.

i have vi10 serial 221510…… Bios: S165C
I try make DD backup and clean install windows 8.1. The backup is not good.
Now my tablet is working, but missing the drivers. Where can i download the right drivers?
Any DD package is wrong, in driver install freeze the tab.
I hope, can solve the problem.

Hi,

After upgrading to latest  Win 10, my touch screen stopped working. I have poured over  every ones posts & fixes, I have downloaded and tried just about everything everyone has tried. But I still cannot get my Touch screen to work.

I have serial N0:
Vi10 Q32G22151102248

Bios:
JID_S165C_206

Everything else works, wifi,cam,gyro etc.. just not the touch screen. Anyone point to the correct drivers please?

I don’t know if you already tried but… Just download the “ultimate pack génesis” open the “touch” folder, install it – Reboot. And then copy “MYI2C.sys and icnfirmware.sys” on C:\windows\system32\drivers… reboot and that’s all. I have the same model as you 221511, but the 64gb one.

I want to ask you a favor, please in case your front camera Works… could you backup the drivers and upload it to OneDrive, google drive, etc and send it to me…? and if you have the bios the same.

Everything Works great in Windows 10 except for the front camera, the HM2056… and think it is because of the bios, because i changed it… I have the same versión but the date is different, my stock one was 10/30/2015 – J1D_S165C_206

I have this same problem

In other bios versions I have touch but don’t have sound, bluetooth and cameras.

I tried three version of bios.

I don’t have ideas what I must do.

First off, thx to the post about the touch screen thing and moving the system file from downloaded s165c drivers folder into system32…GENIUS. A bit of a loss though, my built-in wifi still isn’t working and also my cameras are not working (front) mainly, also my dual os switcher if someone could help out on how to configure that this would be most helpful.
