hm, weird. my update went flawless. they finally added 0% to screen brightness toggle.
November 20, 2015 at 12:10 pm #16180i tried a clean install with an iso from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10, but again had no luck, the problem stills on.
November 20, 2015 at 1:41 pm #16200I have the exact same problem with you. Airplane mode and rotation. Kinda weird that rotation sometimes works after rebooting the device.
Clean install doesn’t help me.
November 20, 2015 at 1:51 pm #16201Strange, now i think that maybe is related to the wireless drive. If i turn the wireless off and then on, after a while screen rotation starts to work. But if i reboot i lose again screen rotation.

oh, wow. It works for me, too. Thank you.
Looks like I have to code an application that turns off and on the wireless on boot.

November 20, 2015 at 2:36 pm #16207different wireless drives didn’t work
November 20, 2015 at 10:02 pm #16227I had the same problem – if you go into device manager >> Sensors >> BMA2X2 (Right click and select Properties
Then ‘Driver’ tab, then ‘Roll Back Driver’, this fixed it for me.
November 21, 2015 at 12:45 pm #16269Can you post a backup of your sensor drive. I allready changed it so many times that the rollback option it’s not working anymore.

Hi guys, hope you might be able to help as you guys all seem to be able to get the 1511 update. Wanted to get the 1511 update but it hasnt arrived on my update schedule. I attempted to use the “MediaCreationTool.exe” but it did not work.
First option, I clicked the “Upgrade this PC now” and it says that I need 6GB of disk space which I dont have, only have 2.8gb
Second option, I clicked the “Create installation media for another PC” and it says that I need 6GB of disk space again.
I’ve taken out my microSD as had been suggested from its spot in the tablet. I then put in an OTG hub which has an SD card slot. I put an empty SD card in the hub but it doesnt appear to recognise this using the setup. The SD card is recognised in File Explorer however and I checked this prior to starting the “MediaCreationTool.exe” program.
Any ideas and did you guys get the update via the automatic update tool or the MediaCreationTool.exe?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
November 23, 2015 at 12:01 pm #16439I ended up deleting/moving unnecessary data files and uninstalling a few of the memory intensive applications to free up sufficient disk space on the system drive. Installation went smoothly after that.
