I have a question regarding the clean install of Win10.
I have noticed that there are some programs already installed on the Cube Mix Plus after the purchase (shown on the attachment).
Is it necessary to re-install these programs after the clean install of Win10?
If yes – where could I find these programs?
Thx, Maxx
May 16, 2017 at 6:30 pm #67036Is this necessary? I haven’t really seen any issue using Cubes version.
May 28, 2017 at 6:00 pm #67533Hi eljuggy,
I’ve managed to delete my backed up driver package and found out about it only after performing a clean install. Would it be possible to upload your driver package to somewhere and share it?
thanks in advance,
Solyosmzem
May 28, 2017 at 9:38 pm #67538I second that… it would be great if someone who extracted the driver package could upload it somewhere to share!

I haven’t read this post for a while…
I’ll try upload my backup of driver tonight or tomorrow and give you the URL.I think it is available in 4pda.ru thread about the tablet. (google translate it… but often download need an account and registering with their russian captcha is an issue (though I managed it by typing the text with a virtual russian keyboard then google translate it)).
June 6, 2017 at 7:29 pm #67863Hello, I added the link to the driver in top message from this thread and here : https://mega.nz/#!5a5w0bhA!ieJomSrv6fMFUqI60krsCjSBjmKAy3IXo1cXsF9ccfA
June 12, 2017 at 5:17 am #68068Hello,
The CTRL + shift doesn’t work at all? because for me some combinations works, (CTRL+SHIFT+esc), others i have to use the CTRL and SHIFT from right side of keyboard, like CTRL + SHIFT + N, and some others i have to use a combination, like CTRL+SHIFT+right CTRL + left SHIFT.
June 15, 2017 at 8:35 pm #68194Hello Walter,
you’re correct CTRL+RIGHT SHIFT is working.
and I also noticed that if numlock is on, then CTRL+LEFT SHIFT works.
I edit 1st post.
Thanks
August 14, 2017 at 8:16 pm #70590I’m upping this thread cause I see people having trouble because of creator update that is pushed by Microsoft.
Please report in this thread what you did after following windows update process so that everything is working fine.
also if needed use these drivers https://mega.nz/#!5a5w0bhA!ieJomSrv6fMFUqI60krsCjSBjmKAy3IXo1cXsF9ccfA
October 10, 2017 at 1:33 pm #73221hi eljuggy,
i updated my mixplus to creator update and when it first boot from restart, some keys are not working. do you think going for clean install will solve the problem? thanks
January 27, 2018 at 7:50 pm #77833HI all – just followed the instructions but having problem with touch screen driver – touch works while installing windows but once I install the backup drivers I loose touch screen. In device manager there is a problem with I2C HID device… I tried uninstalling the driver/device and reinstalling from the backup folder but it doesnt work.
I installed windows twice – once I let it connect to the internet and it updated all the drivers at first boot – this didnt work. Second time I installed windows without letting it go on the internet and manually updated the missing drivers in device manager (from the backup folder) but once the driver been updated and restarted I have lost touch (even without connecting to the internet at all)…
anyone with any idea? I read somewhere else that it could be a modified bios issue? have no idea why my bios would be modified or where I can get a new firmware for it…
UPDATE: managed to narrow down the issue after few re installations of windows and selective driver updating. It looks like the touch problem has something to do with the bluetooth driver. if i uninstall the intel bluetooth driver and restart touch comes back, if windows reload the driver touch driver fails again after restart
UPDATE 2: after spending all weekend trying to sort this out I think I have found the real issue. at one point I have reverted back to the backed up image of the original windows installation only to find out that I also had the problem there now… so after some more messing around I have found out that the issue only arise when I have too many peripherals connected to my USB 3 HUB.
Basically I have a 4 port USB 3 HUB connected to the USB 3 port on the tablet. To reinstall windows I have connected a keyboard, wireless mouse, external 2.5HD for data and drivers and a windows USB key for installation media. It seems that the touch fails to load when I had the keyboard, mouse and HD connected at start up – without the HD and everything was fine, without the mouse and everything was fine… I can connect them all fine AFTER windows start but not while booting…
Have no idea what is exactly going on… can only guess it could do with power draw of the peripherals or loading their drivers. In any case while I dont have a solution at least I have a workable setup as I dont need the HD connected all the time. Going to buy a USB c hub and see if it is better…
April 5, 2018 at 11:11 am #141563Hi everyone,
I read some crazy troubles getting a fresh install of Windows here. Would it also be possible to just use a Imagine Copier or something? Copy the Windows Image unto a USB-stick and install that one unto a new SSD? (This would not let you get new languages, I understand that)
May 31, 2018 at 7:09 pm #143522Hi, I just reinstalled after a crash of my SSD (replaced it with a 48 euros 240gb sunbow ssd from aliexpress…)
So win10 spring update and I had to install wacom driver from walter post above (thanks !) and it immediatly recognized my stylus (no reboot needed) :
May 31, 2018 at 10:16 pm #143532Another (last ?) update :
I had to update the driver of both “SD Host” device in Device manager, so that my 128GB Samsung microsd would be recognized.
Just by right clicking and asking Windows to download a new driver.
I guess the issue comes from Windows installing default driver before all Intel chipset driver are installed and allows to properly identify every devices… then you have to manually tell windows to reinstall a better driver.
