Tryed the store app “internet speed test”..but it keeps stating upload values in the 3 digits(pic)..i do have an up-connection in these values but certainly not on x2 pro std wireless N that it should manage +300mb.. these wifi-values is optain just on top of router and just few feets away it drops like an hot potatoe with an range that are extremely pour…

hmm. That looks strange. What speeds are you paying for?

I recommend to use speedtest.net to measure your speeds. Very reliable, If you want to be extra sure what speeds you get, make the test with 2 different browsers

in regards to your link..goes for 10.8US shipped on app and seems to support gigabit and with active possiblelities5v port..

oh well, what can you do…

Yes I used a 600ac circuit. Yeah im sure that a more expensiv adaptor would get better results. But you have to beleave me, the results I get are pretty damn good. I pay for 100mbit down and 10 mbit up. please look at the picture to see my results. I can say that by our kitchen table the wifi is impossible to use on any phone or laptop what so ever. But now I get impressive 20 mbit down. Before I got like 0,5 mbit down.

thx for the schematic, and yeah’ looks miles better then what im getting on basic x2..

wicked that plug & play items works flawlessly when hijacking the usb3 pins under the hood..

LTE USBdongles a way for LTE support and bypasss the driver-issue that seems to be the case on huawei boards some x2-users previus tryed where numerous win10 difficulties..

Just to clarify, I gave not touched the 5 USB 3-pins. Only the 4 USB 2-pins.

Have you decided if you’re going to open it up? Since you hade some heat-issues

A member asked above about the adhesive used to secure the backplate.  Ordinary rubber cement should work.  The common type you used in grade school to make collages.  (BTW, I’ve been on extended travel.  Congrats, Daniel on getting the modem to work and on your wifi hack.  With the modem, do you get 3G or 4G speeds?)

sure, since ac600 is usb2 solely, but many things arent, and could be widely possiblelities, taking out cirquits and placing them under the hood and hijack the usbpins…

No I havent open it yet fully, I would wait for an closure with the seller, since there was some uncertainty, hence the weight, but most importently many of my sensors went belly up, likely do the heat when benching.

I drop it a couple of days ago from chair hight by mistake  and there wasnt any damage other then back-casing poped out on some places in the one side, it did click in again, so Im  no certain what model is actually is, latches or adhesive, but would estimate it also with latches, and the backcover seems to fullfill hole backarea but i was in a hurry so didnt take an detail look…

But will take an closer look int the comming days, now that warrenty and paypal rights is gone…

btw did you tryed out the screen settings i pasted, did you like it, I think it really improves this screen and makes the color comes alive-..

would love some feedback about the dongle you purchased, and how it performs, myself jumped on the link above to the 10.8US when it was on sale.

good to see your back, your skillfull-pioneer work on the x2 been missed.

@jakob-rasmussen I thought you had left the forum. Good to see you havent!

If the backplate poped out then im 99% sure you have clips like I do. I Really really recommend you to buy some thermal pads and replace it with the stock ones. Btw have I started making my own heatsink. The same one that @anton did.

Yes I will give you a review ones I get it, which might take a while. I too would love some feedback from yours aswell.

I have  now tried the new screensettings and you are totaly right, the screen got a lot better. Good call!

On another note, I have now screwed up the connectors on the MB which means I have destroyd my chanses to solder on a new simcard-tray… Now im searching for a small usb-dongle and a small usb-hub to see if there is any chanse at all to put them in the tablet

@jakob-rasmussen I have now received my usb hub. And it works great! the usb-ports are delivering high read and write-speeds, and the lan-port is giving me 95mbit and im paying for 100 so that more than good.

Have you received yours yet? And how is it going for you with your x2? Have you returned it since the weight-diffrence?

Hi everyone! I hope someone can help me :/

I reset my X2 (which I use since january without problem) with an original windows 10 image and after that (and touch screen driver re-installing), the touch screen is installed but doesn’t work :/

I flashed back the 2.1 version of the teclast firmaware, but same. Same with the V1 too.

    Do you have an idea?

    Thanks for helping!

you have to restore TouchSetting.gt to C:/Windows/inf     which you find here:  http://techtablets.com/downloads-drivers-roms/

something has gone wrong. I recommend you format the drive and make a complete reinstall and restore the drivers using DoubleDriver and restore the touchsetting.gt after that. I have done that litterarly at least 15 times on my tablet and that has worked every time for me

I used the image from teclast pan baidu server, I thought or format the drive before installing am I wrong? I have to use double driver too?

In the system screen, windows indicate a touch screen 5 pinch and pen capabilities so I don’t understand 🙁

Follow these steps and everything will work fine.

Download microsoft media creation tool and download a windows 10 image.

Insert a usb drive and follow these steps to format the usb drive:

Connect USB drive to a Windows PC.
Open a command prompt with Admin rights and run the commands below

Enter the following command in the CMD window:

    diskpart

With this command you can display the list of drives.

    list disk

Now, identify your USB stick and enter the following command as a number (instead of “#”):

    select disk #

You can delete all existing partitions from the USB stick with this command:

    clean

With this chain of command, a new partition is created, then selected, activated and then formatted to FAT32. A drive is subsequently assigned when the procedure is completed:

    create partition primary
    select partition 1
    active
    format quick fs=fat32
    assign

    Now you can exit Diskpart:

    exit

Mount the Windows 10 ISO and then copy all the files on the CD Image to the USB drive.

Insert the usb drive to the tablet

format your ssd and reinstall windows

download the drivers using this link: http://techtablets.com/downloads-drivers-roms/

restore all the drivers using DoubleDriver which is included in the download

Restart the tablet and restore the TouchSetting.gt

    Restart again and everything works
