Chris. The deal you state is for the X98 Plus Windows 10 only version, not the Dual Boot version which BG prices at $210.99.  In addition, the discount code may not be valid on the dual boot version.

Yep, as Fred said. The dual boot is more expensive at the moment.  189$ (+2$ discount from the store which makes it 187$) is the cheapest price around.  I use AliPay and never had an problem. Also, as I stated before,  if you have a problem with the tablet you can open a dispute in AliExpress while on Banggood and GearBest you can just let them know and pray that they will help you. In Ali, if you are not happy with the seller’s response, you can always escalate the dispute.  I’m not saying BG or GB won’t help you, I’m just saying that if you aren’t happy with the solution..you can do nothing about it.

Gal. Are you going to order one at $189 from the Aliexpress deal which starts in a few hours time?  I’m tempted to order from BangGood even though it costs a bit more from them because i’ve used them in the past with no problems.

I have ordered in that aliexpress store(OKQI) in preorder and have been send two days ago. So they have it in stock. They appear in Teclast page as official supplier…  I don’t think that BG and GB have it yet.

Lucky you. I’m trying to get refund from GearBest and buy from AliExpress.. Surprisingly GearBest went dark. Won’t return messages since Thursday.. I guess they will answer me tomorrow after the AliExpress sale ends.

Fred, yes. I will always prefer AliExpress over Banggood, GearBest and the rest. Of course , when the price is similar.

Bit the bullet and ordered from Aliexpress. The deciding factor for me was that i do not like the BangGood policy of repackaging the device into a polystyrene foam box and almost certainly i would incur a sizeable import duty charge from DHL.  Fingers crossed that i made the correct call, so on your head be it Gal Root. 🙂

UPDATE: FYI GearBest are now showing the product as ‘shipping after Feb 15’.  Seems like demand is far outstripping supply – assuming there is in fact any supply. Talk about a chaotic marketplace.

GearBest won’t cancel my order and I don’t want to buy two tablets … I’m missing the AliExpress deal because of GearBest now… So disappointed. I’m afraid to buy from AliExpress without getting my refund from GB… Arr…  What to do?..

I opened a PayPal dispute against GearBest. Now they answer.  They told me that I need to be patience for the refund to happen. So.. I think I can order from Ali safely I hope..

Just 24 hours since ordering l am informed that it has been shipped. Encouraging start. For europe, free shipping items are sent to the Netherlands and then forwarded on to the destination country. Hoping this way, i may be able to side step any additional UK import duty charges. Can’t wait….
