Well, I never purchased anything from GeekBuying but happened to me more than once that the tracking number didn’t work and I got my product… In any case, always check track17 with your tracking number.
January 28, 2016 at 11:52 pm #24196Mine arrived today. Wow that was quick. Quite impressed by the build quality. Heavier than I expected. Buttons being on the left is a pain because the case I have opens left to right rather than right to left like my iPad. Got to get some other kind of case. Performance is ok but it is updating like crazy at the minute so I’ve just left it. Only has balanced option in power management so can’t do a performance setting to remove animations etc. Need to check into this. Sound volume is excellent. Screen is bright and sharp even on half setting. I have a powered OTG cable which allows charging and use of 2 USB ports, well it did on the Onda, I’ll check it with this later. More to come when I check Android but overall its a Double Thumbs up at the minute

The Android operating system is stable?
January 29, 2016 at 3:51 am #24211Windows and Android both seem to be running pretty smooth and fast. I guess they split the 64GB evenly as Windows shows 18GB free out of 64. Probably would have been better with a 48:16 split in favour of Windows, but I’ll have a look to see if it is possible to resize the partitions.
Play store works except for search. It crashes it, but scrolling through apps and installing them works fine.
I had a free 16GB SD card in the box
January 29, 2016 at 10:31 am #24225Really? The split it evenly? That’s a shame.. Needabottle, if you find out how to resize the partitions , let us know.
January 29, 2016 at 2:15 pm #24301I ordered on the 20th and they informed me it shipped on the 24th but the tracking they gave me just says “information received…” and shows no other movement, not even pick up.
I got the “order shipped” message yesterday evening as well. At first I didn’t see any tracking info either, but now it is shown on the DHL website.

As per usual i should have stumped up the extra for air mail. Five days after ordering I estimate my X98 Plus is passing through the Suez Canal right about now 🙁
Interested in new owner comments on battery life.

I think we are screwed. There are an unbelievable 14 partitions on this thing. 32GB Windows, 20GB Android, a 2.5GB, a 2GB and a bunch of other small ones. Not going to be an easy task to do and realistically we would only be looking at a max of 40GB for windows if we want to leave Android with 16GB. I’m guessing the 2.5GB and 2GB are restore partitions.
Hmmm, well, I have a spare 64GB SD card lying about so not a total barn burner but maybe the straight Windows box may have been a better way to go.
January 30, 2016 at 4:08 pm #24141I *tried* to buy from OKQI but like I mentioned in this post their “seller shipping method” wasn’t available to me. I would gladly buy via DHL if I only paid £20 in customs, but in my country, DHL charges around £40 just in “processing fees”, on top of which I would have to pay import tax.
January 30, 2016 at 5:25 pm #24468I just got an automatic message from OKQI regarding the China-Wide holiday (Chinese new year maybe?) from February 1st to 14th. I really hope my tablet already left China!
February 3, 2016 at 5:35 pm #24873All,
I received my X98 dual boot yesterday (after only 4 days of shipping). So far I am really impressed about the device.
Please find my review here: http://oisundnix.blogspot.com
Cheers
