I see in android I’m still on 1.03. I’ll do the upgrade then. Is this also an update to the windows portion?
Both Android and Windows are included in the download. You can chose which one(s) you want to apply.

Thanks. What I meant though, is there any reason to upgradr the windows portion? I’ve done the upgrade to 1.05 now for the android.
October 9, 2016 at 1:22 pm #54545For Windows, I would just use the OTA updates

As I read this frequently here: With “OTA update”s, do you mean casual Windows Updates by MS or firmware/driver updates by teclast?
If latter, is there a tool for that or what? I didn’t get any so far.
October 14, 2016 at 7:58 am #54859I am shocked how bad is the VRM(voltage regulator) implemented in out tablet. Yesterday I ran some stress tests with AIDA64. Only CPU tests run fine, power consumption on about 2.5W and a voltage of 0.720V.
If I also stress the GPU, it eats almost 4.5W alone, the cores barely reach 0.7W and the speed goes down. What is worse is that with high load voltage drops to 0.420V and the graphic driver crashes(because of low voltage the hardware errors start to pop)
The total measured consumption is almost 6W, which is more than the 4W specified in the Intel’s package.
So thanks Intel and Teclast for a stable system.
October 14, 2016 at 8:30 am #54862You got any problems with the tablet not running stable in everyday usage?
October 14, 2016 at 8:41 am #54864In some games I get some reboots from time to time. Also, it obviously flawed to overclock the GPU that much, without it being stable. Also, you get no performance gain if you have to run your cpu at 0.7W to make heat room for gpu’s 4.7W power consumption.
October 14, 2016 at 1:37 pm #54884This version 1.5 have anything new?
