Hi Everybody! I really need help please!!!
I just got my X98 Pro few days ago. Tried to update windows but error always or start update but get back to prewious version. So I decided to reinstall windows clean from microsoft (I already downloaded and made USB) but please help me or link me how to install windows but I want to keep mirek android as well!! PLEASE! Im new here I really need steps or description how to install new windows and keep android.

k9c3 – in bios enabled android and dnx, when restarted flash passed fast an ok, except windowns which disappeared.

but i think Mirek’s android is the best one.

Have you installed windows from iso ?

Not yet, I come android only so far.

I will try to install via WINPE flash, if not – have no idea so far.

Updated to v2 and finally calendar works as intended (before the calendar app did not sync for some reason, mirek v1 rom also could not sync calendar for me). So that already is a worthy fix for me. Thanks.

Had a strange problem where i had to reinstall iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0 and IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.5.0, my PC could not connect to the tablet in dnx mode without reinstalling them, even though i updated to v1 not long ago and the drivers should have already been installed. So if anyone else has problems, reinstalling those might help.

What is mean “areo mode” ? In android ? Your device losing the whole battery in 10 hours in sleep ? I loose around 1-2 % within 10 hours . I improved battery live alnost 50 % in normal usage in v2 rom ( Internet , reading , music , light games ). And yes I still can improve battery live even more … but it needs more tests .

Look After 10 hours in sleep from my x98 pro -like you see is around 1 -2 % try to find the app which cause the problem of draining the battery

@mirek Thanks at first for your answer.

I really want your battery graph! 😉 Actually mine cosuption is about 12% on air mode after 10 hours with screen off… I als use kernel adiutor to limit CPU at 1200Mhz and Lux to set the screen light under the first lumen in adaptive mode using the front cam like a light sensor  (example -40/-35%, fortunately the backlight of this screen is great).

 

I see that my battery option doesn’t display apps used (is it a rom issue?), so I used betterbatterystat and nothing…

Seems like a minimal ever consuption of CPU, but it correctly goes on deep sleep (checked on freq tab)… Do you have any advice?

Must I try a new clean install (the second one)?

One more think -maybe helpful- my battery when full charged (also overcharged for 10hours with tablet swithched off, display 94% at fist boot; not 100%.. is it a calibration problem or it’s normal?).

I tried to install it but without any succes, I gues it has to do with the dual boot bios.

Sure. I “removed” only those 3 lines from your .bat

#IF %ERRORLEVEL% == 3 GOTO EXIT

#:EXIT
#exit

After that the batch automatically choose “dirty” as option. so if i want to flash “clean” i have to remove the following line also:

IF %ERRORLEVEL% == 1 GOTO DIRTY

The enconding is UTF-8

@starworld Thx! So the not corresponding battery value was a problem mainly of the tablet itself, common in all tablets.. No remedy reached? This rom is great but I want to remedy at my drain issue.. And I have no idea which is the way because I don’t find the problem.. :/

@salvi> i also had the battery problem. My x98 pro was empty in max 2hours while using or a day without using. After removing the chrome app my battery last much longer.

Just Flashed v2 rom. The best ROM for the Tablet.. Everything went Smooth.. The SD Card was initially not detected, but the solution posted by Jean works for me..

The only issue for me is the camera not working..
