yes,i do flash my tablets as clean install mode.

and, these apps may cann’t work in 4.0 rom:uc browser, youku. These two apps is really so popular in china, and they can work good on officail rom.

For the question 3,i mean the volume is too low ,can you increase the volume for X98  pro?

By the way,by watch your repleys for other guys,i really excpect your next release…

    Thanks for your greate job!

Sorry to be repetitive, but after I read quite a few articles about Stagefright articles I got that the actual exploit can be used by just making user go to a website that contains hacked mp4 file. Particularly this new way called Metaphor is a proof-of-concept how to use it: https://www.exploit-db.com/docs/39527.pdf

That white paper is linked in http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/03/17/stagefright_aslr_bypass/

Only thing needed is to make user to go to a web site

Is it big work to update to newer version with these fixes because to me this is a major vulnerability making me to use Windows in my tablet even though your Android ROM is much nicer to use.

The Hacker News says here: http://thehackernews.com/2015/10/android-stagefright-vulnerability.html

The Stagefright Bug 2.0 vulnerability can be triggered (attack vectors) by:
    • Webpage
    • Man-in-the-middle attack
    • Third-party media player
    • Instant messaging apps

I have no idea so far fow to path it.
Anyway my rom has installed adblock as well ( and updated ads list )  so it prevents to load strange videos anyway plus you can install Firefox ( is has own rendering engine in that case should be save ) .

You worried about your data and you are  using much more risky system like … windows ….Ok .

I meant no offence what so ever. I also understand that your rom is your hobby project and you have limited time to work with it. I was mostly in understanding that you think there is no risk with that security issue.

Firefox is a good idea. Thanks for that.

But anyway in Windows I get security patches from Microsoft when they release them. Google has made it’s Android in a way that Google can’t control when security patches end up in devices (if ever) which makes most Android devices vulnerable instantly when the manufacturer stops supporting them.
Also with Windows I have more control what to run in them and when.

Mirek, on the v4.0 Rom, the Navigation Bar is not centered at the lower, it’s on left side, please fix this on v5 or higher ^_^

Btw this rom is great after updated at v1.0.

Earlier the circle was somwere on the right side ….

    Hi Mirek,

    Thanks for rom v4.

I have issue after installing your rom(clear). In windows dosn’t work Sdcard, but in android works fine(now ntfs). I also try to format to fat32 or exfat but sdcard still not vissible in my computer. Problem is similar like on 98plus with reading sdxc card, i think. I tried to reinstall drivers for SDA standard compliant SD HOST Controller. It will be visible for a moment, but when try to open it disappear again. Could you check it?On stock adroid rom and in windows sd card was vissible aand works fine on both OS. My sd card is – Transcend microSdHC/mircoSdXC 64gb USH-1 300x. Thnks

    Very interesting.
On my X98 Plus I have a sd card problem precisely, since I have the MIREK Rom under Windows.
I had not actually brought the two things in context
But perhaps there is indeed a connection
The Mirek Rom is super on the PLUS but the price of a non-functioning SD on Windows would be too high!

I have no idea how formating system and clear data partition can impact on windows …

Procedure is the same like in MFT.

I check my sdcard in windows later today …

    Just to let you know

Reinstalled the stock android ROM, booted to windows and had the same problem with the SD-Card.

So it seems it has nothing to do with your ROM.

Went back to a Nandroid backup of your ROM I have gladly made before with a half working TWRP 😉

But please let me know if your SD is working under windows

    Thanks…
