Hi Mirek.

I’ve tested v6 (dirty install) and still experiencing some issues (blank screen or corrupt screen).

Android is not hung but no way to recover desktop. However logcat is complaining about a denied permission for crashlogd. So, I think selinux is blocking crashlogd dump.

After changing selinux policy to permissive, I recovered desktop and APEX had a FC. So, I think the problem with back screen could be given by an Apex FC followed by an incorrect selinux policy.

Hope this can help you in order to find issue. Meanwhile, I will swap from apex to Nova. 🙂

Black screens were caused by other things as well … That I solved … Still left something yet .

And yes today I noticed “perssimision ” problem .

You are right. There must be something else, but selinux aggravates the problem because makes the tablet unresponsive.

By the way, Nova launcher is smoother than Apex… I’ve been trying with both for days and the difference is quite apparent. Apex is a good launcher, anyway, much better than stock launcher.

Good job with this ROM! Default stock for X98 pro is quite bad… X98 plus stock one, however, is pretty decent. Perhaps you could use it as base for X98pro… hardware should be almost the same… 🙂

I think the problem is with the surfaceflinger ….  But need more test …

Yes, navigating through logcat I saw several problems with the display adapter… everything must be related…

This is consistent with APEX failure after a digitizer failure…

My friend, Mirek has already a ROM from X98 plus. 😉 I’ve tested both devices and are quite similar. Main difference is at GPU level. X98 pro is much more powerful in gaming than X98 plus. However, is an older model and so less polished at Android leve. Both ROMs are 5.1 based and quite similar. But some issues present at Pro are not at Plus. At chipset / processor level they use the same linux kernel driver. Main differences could came from camera, wifi and digitizer. But probably will be the same. Perhaps the camera don’t, but we can try… hmmm… in fact I could try although since I’ve not installed TWRP recovery restoring is not as easy as it should be. 😉

Difrences between x98pro and plus is also that plus has x86 androud , pro has x86_64 .

But both kernels are very similar .

I tried boot dome time ago rim from plus but got bootloop 🙂

Hi hope that you can also revise the issue related to some page of the stock browser, because if you try to open on full screen a video in streaming, this doesn’t work, it’s always in the small square preview… maybe a simply plugin issue.

The Intel Android Drivers embedded in the archive are very old (v1.5, they shows as unsigned on Windows 7 x64), use the latest 1.10 instead:

Hello mirek, for my second comment I passed under your ROM v6 “clean install ” it is OK but I have the same bug as on V5 ,2 has 3 times a day, for the moment with games as beach boom, clash or the camera (without the touch) here is if that can use to polish up the Rom.

I’m testing a new settngs from tbe morning … seems work fine now but still need longer testing 2 or 3 days …

Have just flashed v6, thanks mirek for the amazing work with the ROM and flasher tool. It seems to be super choppy for me to the state of being unusable, where touches are not being responded to or have a 5-8 second lag and then brief flashes of being smooth as butter.

Not sure if there’s a ‘bedding down’ period where it needs to do something in the background? Have tried installing Nova launcher and switching everything to fast but no luck.

I’ve gone from a Win10 only K9C3, flashed the new dual boot BIOS and immediately used your flashtool to install your ROM, not sure if that is what has caused this?

Also – I chose option 3 in the flash tool to repartition and wipe windows, but the guides to reinstall the windows partition say to choose the Windows option from the dual boot at BIOS which is now gone. Do you know what I would need to do next?
