Hmm i find out that after updated to v6, installing apps took longer time and sometime re-download on Google Play … At v4 is normal speed.

Can you solved this problem mirek? I appreciate this 😀

By the way, I’ve been looking at new kernel v4 series. Cherry trail is well supported and it could be interesting compiling for X98 pro. Big improvements since 4.2 with Intel graphics…about 20% performance increase. However I don’t know if all hardware will be included in kernel mainline or if we would need additional proprietary drivers for our tablet.

Perhaps if I have time I could give a try in a few weeks…

Has anyone had problems with the notifications bar? Mine do not drop down unless I’m using the tablet in portrait mode. If I have the screen locked it works OK though….I can’t figure out what’s going on… ?

Yes, kernel problem is the one cause X98’s Android 2 Gb RAM on default .. Hmm maybe Teclast forgot to upgrade kernel of this one.

I installed (dirty way) the v6 this week and I have a problem with sound. I use the tablet for watching vídeos that I have on my SD and with all the apk I have the same problem, sometimes the audio works and sometimes don´t. Anyone with the same problem? I don´t want to make yet a clean installation because don´t want to reinstall all the apks till the version is stable, so I hope mirek get a new version without all these troubles.

Hi there,

I’ve recieved my brand new X98 Pro today.

Flashed it first with the provided Flash Tool.

I’ve tried to install The V6 today (clean install).

The install went Ok to the end, but my Android version rebooted in chinese langage mode.

Anyone has an idea what did i do wrong ?

You were right, I’ve reinstalled your rom and now all works fine.

I’ve got just a problem with OTG. it seems it doesn’t work with this device http://eu.banggood.com/Wholesale-Warehouse-4-Port-Micro-USB-OTG-Charger-HUB-Cable-For-Tablet-Phone-wp-Uk-975460.html under android but it works fine in windows.

any advice?

he instalado en mis tablets x98 pro    la rom de mirekv6    …todo perfecto….pero hay ratos que que se queda pillada pantala en negro y se bloquea

la instalacion fue limpia limpia…todo esta divinoo….solo es la pantalla en negro y unas rayitas cruzadas en colores..

que hago  amigo….gracias y un buen trbajo la verdad …..eres un crack….

I get it, it annoys me too, like the x16 users on here begging for a ROM, bug to be fair, they could use Google translate? They might actually get some help..

Hi guys, i just received my tablet x98 pro yesterday and wanted to install the mirek android version, i tryed to install the drivers on my computer first, but i had problems with, i wanted to look on the bios with a otg cable and keyboard but it was strange, the keyborard seems not to be recognized when the tablett boot, i m pressing f7, but nothing happends.

I tried to go in the bios by an other way with windows, and i saw that the dnx fastboot was disabled, i put it on enabled, and restart, the problem now is that the system boot only on android system, with a red message ” oemi acpi table parse error ” i think there is something wrong on the bios, but i can’t access to him by keyboard, is there any solutions to flash the bios by computer?

The thing is, i don’t know why with 2 differents cables the keyboard don’t work……..
