Hi All,

I can not enter the dvn mode. It starts just like usual if i press the three buttons. Have the K9C6 version. Does it also work for this version?

Try to press power botton and – volume. Release it when teclast logo comes out.

This one is still quite unstable for me. Is it possible to flash v3 or v4 and keep all apps installed? Has anyone done this with success?

Theoretically, you should only flash the system partition.

Actually, I flashed back the stock Rom. Maybe it’s not the better Rom, but being root you can adjust the performance.

Mirek ROM is stock based. So, although not sure, you could come back to stock ROM or previous mirek ROM without problems.

V3 / V4 do have lockout problem? I will give a try…

I think current problem can be due to systemUI mods. I could try with stock systemUI.apk over v6…

…. 72 hours. No hangs.

…. More than 5 days and no hangs.

However performance is not as good as with v6

I’ve read the comments on this forum and I am still not able to flash any of the Mirek190 rom. I’ve downloaded and installed the ADB en Intel ADB drivers from the ROM. My device was recognized whithout issues. I ‘ve done all the steps mentioned and even installed the latest driver from Intell. My device started to flash but stuck on writing data. Nothing occur after that. The display on my device shows that flash was done. But when I’ll reboot the stock Chinese Android showed up again. My device is dualboot K9C6.

What can be the problem and is there a way I can solve it?

I could try that one as well before selling the tablet (because v6 is crashing several times every day). Can you share a link for the ROM?

Hello to all X98 pro users (especially Mirek),

I think that it would be a real shame to remain at v6 since Mirek did great job, but left it somewhat unfinished.

I know that new tablets arrive daily and they get main attention…. but still X98 Pro is splendid tablet that is

in need of a final touch – v7, number of the heaven 🙂

 

Mirek, please don’t let us down… try to eliminate freezes, add skype sound, optimize battery usage etc.

I’ve been testing for several days. I can conclude that lock problems are related with kernel or some tweaks at boot.

I’ve played with v3 but using boot.img from v6, enabling 4GB RAM, etc and locks came back although performance is much much better with v6 kernel.

At this moment I’m trying to unpack boot.img in order to check changes between v3 and v6 but sim2img does not work. Does anybody know if partitions in Atom based tablets are encrypted?
