The UI is not responding for a few seconds when installing apps on Play Store. Not a big deal though.

Also noticed that Perfect Viewer freezes when scanning books directory (it was no the case before), I let the tablet in sleep mod and was not able to wake it, I had to keep the power button pushed to shut it off and on again.

Strange I was installing many apps ant the  same time and never freezes for even a seconds …  and was using browser and checking other apps in play store at the same time – zram was working perfect buffering ram data

I testes that app you mentioned – works ok.

Have you flash clean system ?

Do you have k9c3 or k9c6 ?

Thx your precious ROM at first, just few questions before start the upgrade:

1. I already have your 1.1 version, but to upgrade I need to full wipe for a clean install?
2. I haven’t TWRP, do you thing that I have to install it and how can I install it without breaking the dual boot?

Hello,

when I maintain the keys to switch to DNX mode, DNX appears 1 second then I get on the page dualboot, how to stay DNX mode?

Simply at first when tablet is powered off push both volume keys, then (while these two pushed) push also the power button; mantain all these three buttons pushed, then will appear DNX mode, after this release all; the tablet will stay on DNX mode, without charging dual boot page.

Thanks for your answer, but no changes,I  stay on the black screen with dnx mode write for 2 second and after I enter into the dualboot …

@mirek Thx again for the ROM, the real difference with the previous release I think is the battery drain, now is much better!

Do you think that we can reach a much better optimization on battery side (downclock/undervolt/etc.)? This is the huge defect of this tablet.. with my old nexus 7 (tegra) on android I reach 7/10 days in aero mode & screen off; with this -on android- only 10 hours (aero+screen off) if I’m lucky. :/

I think that a 8000Mah battery should perform better.

 

1) Anyone of you guys have any advise to reach a better endurance on android (can the cpu be undervolted with this rom?)?

2) Is there a way to use an active flip case? Without the light sensor the screen doesn’t feel the sensor covering act made by the flip, so the screen stay off.

What is mean “areo mode” ? In android ?
Your device losing the whole battery in 10 hours in sleep ?
I loose around  1-2 %  within 10 hours .
I improved battery live alnost 50 % in normal usage in v2 rom  ( Internet , reading , music , light games ).

And yes I still can improve battery live even more … but it needs more tests .

@mirek Hi, currently, I’m using your v2 rom, the battery life do have a great improve!!
few question I wish to ask

1. I try to run the antutu benchmark which only get around 76000 to 79000 (I hear that some people get 82000+ after reboot but I can’t) which slightly lower than teclast rom (that I able to get 81000+).

2. I found that when I using Paragon exfat, NTFS & HFS app, it often crash or freeze. (other similar app have no issue, so not very serious case)

3. I try to test the speed of the wifi, the max speed on speedtest.net can only reach 8.5mbps which my laptop can get 20mbps (same server choose). Is it limitation of hardware or what? I didn’t test it before I flash this rom.

4. sometime the player (mx player i use) will crash or freeze when i press the power button while video playing, after i press power button to switch on again, for several time, no response and freeze or crash. but it just happen for several time after i installed the mx player. and it also happen for 1 time only, i can’t access any folder in mxplayer, but solved by reboot

5. weird thing since the teclast x98 air 2 until now the x98 pro, which teclast android can access NTSF storage but not exfat? is it possible to add the access directly by the customize rom? (which mean no need through third party app and the app (like player) can access the exfat formatted Pendrive or microsd card).

6. from the antutu benchmark show the performance of x98 pro is similar to note 5, but why it still lagging in some game like fifa 16 which i hear that is smooth on note 5? (ok these question is not about rom, just asking)

Thank you, Mirek, I did flash it successfully. It didnt even took 3 minutes… 🙂

One important thing before the flashing, though: before entering the DNX mode, X98Pro has to be switched off from Android, not Windows, before flashing. Otherwise it would not be recognized by the PC. I tried several USB cables and all the USB ports that I have on my PC, but with X98Pro switched off from Windows – no success! After I rebooted X98Pro into the Android, then switched it off in Android – voila, everything went smoothly and quickly! Thanks once again, now trying to test the performance and stability, because I was absolutely disappointed with the original ROM…

Air mode, sorry I wrote it wrong: no wifi/no bluetooth.

I compare this tablet to my old nexus 7 on the same state, so screen off & air mode and…

This tablet do  mainly 10hours vs 10days of nexus. How can I improve this?

How can I reach your better battery consuption?

Any possibility to undervolt the single cpu states or totally switch off some cores?
