Nope, I’ve only run it on the X98 Air 3G. I think it needs some dev input to work on the Chuwi’s.

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30July 13, 2015 at 10:30 pm #6960I found this solution to install Xposed framework working for me with no issues on my Chuwi HI 8 Android 4.4.4 ROM
Xposed Framework
1. Download/Install Terminal Emulator from play store
2. Download/Install Root Explorer from anywhere LOL ?
3. Download/install Xposed Framework, install the framework but don’t reboot
4. With root explorer go to /system/bin/ rename app_process to app_process.xposed-bak, then rename rename app_process.orig to app_process
5. Open Terminal Emulator
type “su” without quote then execute
type “echo 0x98 > /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset” without quote then execute
type “chmod 664 /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/jit_reset_offset” without quote then execute
6. Reinstall the framework then rebootCourtesy: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/general/chuwi-v89-8-9-inch-64gb-dual-boot-t3046348/page6

January 1, 2016 at 9:52 pm #20888What if I don’t have app_process.orig?And after changing app_process to app_process.xposed-bak, SuperSU stopped working, and after reboot got bootloop.Works fine
January 23, 2016 at 11:58 am #23431Could anyone manage to install Xposed Framework on Chuwi HI8? I tried but it ended up with bootloop, had to run disable script to get it unbrick. Would appreciate the response with help.
How did you get out of the boot loop?? Please help me, I’m stuck thanks

since there is no permanent custom recovery for the hi8, there’s no way you can disable xposed without booting up the tablet. You’ll have to re-flash the stock rom, then follow the guide from the third comment to get xposed working without bootloop.

So may you link to a guide that will work for sure? I’m not interested to “save” what I have in Android but at least I’d like to use it even as a new device! Thanks I hope that you will help me

Is there a way to use Windows to modify file on Android and solve the problem?
Onestly I tried that guide just part 1 and 2 but everytime I plug the device it start working and then it stuck at 9% and after awhile I get an error

no, since you can’t see the android partition in windows.
that guide works 100%
Just make sure you’ve got all the correct drivers installed properly.

My problem might be that I tried on a virtual machine, I’m gonna install it via Bootcamp! I hope that this time will work, may I need to install Intel drive 1.5.0 instead of 1.1.0??
P.S. Actually using ExtFS or some other program I think that I should be able to modify file, someone on this thread I think made this solution or maybe someone else always from this forum!
