Reply To: Chuwi Vi8 refuses Windows 10 Home Upgrade

Hi everyone! So glad finally found a forum where I can lay out my troubles with my latest acquisitions.
I did the Win 10 upgrade on the Chuwi vi8, and nowhere was it possible to go to Android. Tried re-installing Win 8.1 and that’s where I hit a snag. When I start the tablet after selecting Windows (Note that in order to get the Windows or Android icons, I need to press and keep pressing the on/off button and Sound + until the icons show-up and then release the on/off and select Windows) where it seems to be loading. However, the tablet pauses and an error from windows says there was a minor problem loading and we will resove it immediately (: – another note below states ‘INACCESSIBLE BOOTING DEVICE’ I connect the jump drive that I used when installing Windows 10, (I’ve tried restarting with the jump drive already plugged-in or when the error pops up on the screen), it simply re-starts forever until I stop it by hard-shutting it down. I’ve no idea why it went wrong, and I really haven’t a clue what to do next. I’ve looked everywhere on the net for some help for the past three days and there you were. Maybe you could tell me how to fix this mess, since I’m at a lost to find the solution. Many thanks for this forum. Maybe others have encountered the same problem. Lou
