Ok, replaced my batteries last night, so far so good. Had a couple of issues with one of the wires detaching from the battery controller board contact, possibly my poor soldering skills/old solder/crappy soldering iron. But fixed it and finally got a good join. BatteryBar readings still appear to be off (does it need reset/calibrated?), it shows the right %, but time remaining shows 1:29. The built in battery info shows 10hr 59min remaining at 87% I’ve attached a few photos in case they’re of interest/use to anyone.
Thanks to you guys for posting your photos/info which was a big help.
