These are my ideas…
- Make sure your laptop is plugged in. (I sometimes think mine won’t boot, but somehow left it on so it was dead)
- There’s got to be a way to tell if you’re in the bios… Can you go in a dark room and see if when you turn it on, the backlight for the screen turns on?
- If you take it apart you could maybe unplug the battery… Hold down power for like 30 seconds and then reconnect the battery? Might reset it. I opened mine and I didn’t see any bios battery… JustĀ a bunch of screws and then the bottom needs to be gently pulled apart (lots of snaps)
- If you get into the “newest bios”
- Push down arrow (x5)
- enter
- right(x1)
- down (x2) this will select “video config”
- enter
- “GOP driver” will be selected.
- enter (to select)
- enter again (to enable)
- f10 (to save and exit)
- enter
- enter (the end. hopefully that helps)
OR
- an easier way is to just try an load defaults
- get in bios
- right (x5)
- down (x3) for optimal settings or down (x4) for “custom default”
- enter
- enter
- f10
- enter
- enter
I hope this is clearer than mud. Sorry but thats all I got!! Good luck!
