Don’t worry when my type-c hub to USB 3 adapter arrives soon from Amazon, I’ll flash mine and risk the brick. No real loss since mine is running like a POS anyway with screen issues, power on problems and randomly powering off. I hope this will fix it. I have a fixed factory Hi8 Pro on the way to review.

Did you successfully upgraded the bios? I have the same issues you are facing with additional wifi disconnecting often and cant connect it back until u reboot it. It happened for both windows and android.
Did you try this new bios?
