Go into Device Manager > Network Adapter > Right click your adapter, choose properties. Go to the advanced tab, scroll down to WMM and Xpress. Turn OFF WMM and Xpress ON.
Also, my tb10 was 40Mhz intolerant and refused to connect to ANY 40 Mhz wifi whatsoever, no matter what settings.
