Well darn I got it to use mostly as a GPS/Tablet in my car… unfortunately I’ve discovered the memory partition problem in the firmware it came with. So a few apps and downloading the offline maps for my area basically filled up all my space for apps.
I’m in the USA on Verizon so this phone is incompatible with my service as I understand it… Which is fine, I was prepared for wifi only. The newest firmware was real hard to find on the chinese language site, and I had to manually google translate a lot of the text because for some reason google translate on my chromebook wouldn’t auto translate, so that sucked.
The firmware problem is a killer though, and I’ve never rooted or flashed stuff to a phone or tablet so even now that I have the right firmware file I think, and even after reading about it on XDA, I’m a bit afraid to try upgrading the firmware myself.
Any chance Cube will do an OTA for USA users?
