Yes I did, it’s what prompted me to make the post because in my experience everything works fine on Ubuntu 16.04 (which is the currently recommended version) and I had no problem installing to the SSD. (I did the bios upgrade Carlos mentioned first though.) I have been using it daily since March now.
I haven’t tried HDMI-out though since I don’t have the right cable for that.
