    I was wrong. It is not really full 1.84 but it is a setting to boost CPU in BIOS. What you got is RAM speed, slightly different, imo. But it gives no significant effect.

    It must be 1.6ghz with a full load of four cores, and 1.8ghz with a full load of only one core.

    I don’t know if Turbo Mode (the 1.84 GHz you’re looking for) is enabled in the default BIOS settings (with Power Technology on “Energy Efficient”.

    If you check Advanced – CPU configuration, the default Power Technology setting is “Energy Efficient”.

    If you change that to “Custom”, you see that Turbo Mode is “Enabled”, so then you should have it available.

    However, what the effect is on performance and power saving when changing this setting, and which P-state and C state settings are preferable, I haven’t got a clue (so perform at your own risk ‘;-)
