I don’t have a 128GB one as the writes were too slow I sold it, my Sandisk 64GB Ultra and Samsungs work. But many users including Scott here on the forum have 128GB ones that work. Not sure what Brand.

Good to know. I did read here and there that it “should” be fine but I wanted to confirm. Thanks for the responses. -K

Looks like 128GB works unless you have dualboot and you want to access the card in both systems….

I use a Toshiba Exceria 128 GB u3 without any problems.

However, because I didn’t dare the rooting/NTSC support for Android yet (maybe over cautious), I partitioned the SD-card in a 32 GB partition (fat32 formatted for Android support) and a (around) 85 GB partition (NTSC formatted for Windows, to be able to store >4GB files).

Both systems only able to access its own partition.

Not a perfect solution, but works for me for now.

Hi Marc, I tried to accomplish the same but couldn’t get Windows to read the 2nd partition of equal size. I used FAT32.

May I ask what tool you used to partition your 128GB microSD please?

I used this to format my 64GB microsd card to 64GB FAT32.  I think it works for 128GB and beyond as well.

Once I got my 64GB repartitioned for 64GB and formatted it Fat32, both android and windows can access it at 64GB.

I have a 200 GB card in mine, Sandisk. I had a 128GB one in that kept becoming corrupt from Sandisk, and on chance bought the 200GB version. It’s been in for over 3 months and not one corrrupt state and I use Link2SD to install larger programs and games (rooted).
