I personally would go for the Chuwi Hi10 or Teclast X2 Pro because of the additional (Type A) USB ports they have. The Teclast has the better/faster CPU, but Chuwi has a docking keyboard accessory to turn the Hi10 into a proper 2-in-1 tablet-laptop…
Well, my budget is about $200-$300 so that is out of range (including my country’s import taxes which would be $30ish). Also I am comfortable with my current 8 inch tablet, so unfortunately I have not found 8 inch with 4GB ram so I have to go bigger with 9.7/10.1 inch. I don’t think I will like it to go beyond that.
Yes, Chuwi Hi10 and Teclast X98 Plus are at the top of my list. The Hi10 has docking keyboard option and USB port, while the X98 has better screen resolution and better battery life. I’m inclined to the docking keyboard but I read Chuwi Hi10 heat and touch issues, I’m not sure how to decide.
Take a look at the Teclast X16 Pro. 4GB RAM, but 11.6 inches. Otherwise you’ll need to take a look at the Teclast X98 Pro, 9.7 inches.
Both have an Atom z8500 CPU.
The Chuwi HI10 (and the Cube iWork 11) have an Atom z8300, not so good. Also, 4GB of RAM on a z8300 means that there’s no dual channel setting, reducing RAM performance even more.
