So my Chuwi Hi10 Plus is to arrive today or tomorrow (yay!) and I’m now giddily looking at things to protect my investment a bit more, including a screen protector. I’ve found a 9H glass for the Hi10 Plus has recently become available on AliExpress, but one of them has posted that there is a defect in the tablet’s screen that causes bubbles to show on the edges. Anyone know what this means? They’ve included pictures on their product page, but it doesn’t really clearly show what this is:
The page has the following, very Google translate-esque text:
” Buyer Note:about chuwi Hi10 plus Tablet lcd screen is Concave screen, the frame lcd screen not flip then the middle lcd screen ,all glass protectores is flip ,so when setting glass protector on the tablet screen will with bubble in the four sides,we had enclose details photo to show the problem .the bubbles not effect for tablet use ,we had test it many times.all china market just have our company open model to made the glass protectors for hi10 tablet.”
None of the other vendors offering a screen protector have noted anything like this.
Has anyone gotten a glass screen protector for their tablet and know what this is? I’ve gotten glass protectors for my other touch devices and they don’t have bubbles… I vastly prefer them to the plastic protectors as they don’t scratch nearly as easily and I’ve only ever had one crack on me when dropped, while leaving the actual screen underneath untouched. Thoughts?
