    Hi All,

I’m going a little crazy here, and hope someone can help me. I’m trying to wipe the tablet and reinstall only Windows, but I can’t seem to get my X98 Plus (A6C7) to recognize my USB in the BIOS. I created the USB(s) from the ISO file direct from Microsoft (tried from the Media Creation Tool, as well as the MSDN Subscriber page).

I use Rufus and set it to GPT, FAT32, labelled WINPE, and within Windows the Tablet has no problem recognizing it, but it doesn’t show up within the BIOS. I’ve also tried the other two settings in Rufus with no luck. Boot options are only Android and “UEFI: Built-in EFI Shell”.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

i’ve got the same problem with rufus. Just use Yumi to create your installer! Select your usb drive, select “Windows 10 Installer” and dont forgett to check “Format Drive (Erase Conten)!

Thanks for the reply! I’m actually watching it install Windows right now. I went and picked up a new USB hub, so I think that might have been the issue.

If I encounter this in the future, I’ll definitely give Yumi a try.

I tried three different usb drives: only one was recognized. I used universal Usb installer.
