When you’re looking for a charger for your Cube i9, you need to look for a charger that supports “Power Delivery” (PD). These chargers are also used for the Google Pixel and for the MacBook 2016.
Not all chargers work for all devices. This Anker PowerPort+ 5 USB-C with USB Power Delivery works for the Cube:

It does not charge very fast though. Top charging rate I’ve seen up till now is 13.5 Watts.
December 5, 2016 at 6:05 pm #58114I’ve bought two USB-C hubs. The cheapest one of the two performs best in my personal setup.
I paid approximately € 24 for this VicTop USB Type C Hub. It is currently not available on Amazon, but maybe you can find it somewhere else:
December 5, 2016 at 9:54 pm #58121The more expensive one of the USB-C hubs I bought, is the same hub Chris tested as well. It is the HAVIT USB 3.1 Type-C Hub. I paid € 60, but it is now a bit more expensive:

It works very well when I use it standalone, but the HDMI connection will occasionally display glitches when I connect it using a USB Type-C extension cable. The VicTop USB Type-C hub above works flawless with the same setup.
December 8, 2016 at 11:55 am #58225XtremeGuard sells “full body” protectors which allow you to also protect the back of your tablet. I’ve applied a Surface 4 “Tab Back Only Protector” to the back of my Cube i9. Don’t be fooled by the regular prices on the website, you never need to pay the full price:
At this moment there is a 92% discount when you use the coupon code Cyber92 . You need to buy two items, but this back only protector will cost you $2.00 + shipping.

December 12, 2016 at 1:20 am #58431What do you think about this charger for the Cube i9?
I would be willing to buy it just to test it, but I definitely don’t want to fry my Cube i9 :S

What I've used and what I've got:
TECLAST X98 AIR 3G, TECLAST X98 AIR II, TECLAST X98 PRO,CHUWI HI8, CHUWI HI12, CUBE I9December 13, 2016 at 1:10 pm #58549What do you think about this charger for the Cube i9? https://www.amazon.es/Cargador-UGREEN-Adaptador-Delivery-pulgadas/dp/B01GL4MFVU/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1481504335&sr=8-11&keywords=power+delivery I would be willing to buy it just to test it, but I definitely don’t want to fry my Cube i9 :S
If you Google for Benson Leung Ugreen you’ll discover that the Ugreen cables are usually not good. So I would not buy an untested charger from them with zero reviews on Amazon.
But maybe buying a really good Power Delivery charger right now turns out to be impossible.
