Hello!
I am about to order my tablet through Banggood and before I did that, I was wondering what other accessories do you recommend that I should order along with as well. I really should order a case so any recommendations you have on that would be great. Do you recommend anything else like a screen protector or anything like that as well?
I just wish Banggood would ship with the original box as well but I suppose I should compromise on that to ensure delivery without any damage.
Thanks.
October 26, 2015 at 9:28 pm #14247Hi,
Maybe a case and screen protector is a good idea. As the screens are not gorilla glass ones, they can scratch easy. X98 Air 3G / Air II cases will fit too.
These I recommend (Official case in black) http://www.banggood.com/Folding-Stand-PU-Leather-Case-For-Teclast-X98-Pro-Tablet-PC-p-1006040.html
And screen protector: http://www.banggood.com/Transparent-Screen-Protector-Film-For-Teclast-X98-AIR-3GP98-3G-p-956285.html Normally I get 2-3 as I’m hopeless at applying them without dust or bubbles.
You can also ask Banggood.com to ship it in the original box, sometimes they will do this. But their packaging they use (when repacked) is super safe and I have yet to see a damaged tablet arrive in it!

October 26, 2015 at 10:50 pm #14256Yes if your gaming it would be a bit warmer as it acts as an insulator and would keep more of the heat in. But that’s on my modded X98 Pro where I have heat transferring directly to the outer metal housing.

If I may ask one more thing, do you buy the copper plates through Banggood as well or do you source that elsewhere? I will certainly be doing your copper mod. BTW – thanks for all the valuable information you provide through your reviews.
I understand these tablets are a lottery, but I am really hoping that I get a good one. Maybe after that I’ll go out and buy a real lottery too. 🙂
October 27, 2015 at 11:02 am #14298Hi, I got them from eBay. But you can source them from anywhere really, maybe even a local hardware store. Another user in the thread used some 0.5m copper plates and Artic MX5 thermal paste and said their temps don’t go past 38 degrees! So there is room for improvement on my mod.

I already placed my order of the original case. I don’t want to ask them to change the order for me thinking that might be too risky. Probably will mess something up with the order and I won’t get the tablet for a long time or something like that.
