Theres a guy in the Chuwi HI10 forum that also posted a link to some of these items.
But ordered these together with the tablet and the keyboard.

I almost forgot to mention, the Micro USB ports on this specific tablet are (non powered), meaning with the supplied Micro USB 2.0 cable it will only recognize low powered devices such as USB Flash drives, ordinary USB mouses/wireless receivers (not ones with lots of LED lights) and ordinary USN keyboard/wirelesses receivers (again not ones with lots of LED lights or USB hubs).
It will recognize 2.5″, 3.5″ USB external hard drives, keyboards with lots of LED or USB hub functions, gaming mouse with lots LED or any other devices that require lots of USB power.
In order to remedy this problem with the non powered Micro USB ports (both USB 2.0 and 3.0) on this tablet, you should buy the following powered USB OTG cables or hubs combined with the supplied USB 2.0 OTG cable that comes with this tablet.
Tablet includes as USB 2.0 OTG cable that looks similar to this one:
Combination 1 with the supplied USB 2.0 OTG cable:
*This would allow for powered USB devices to be recognized and connected through the Micro USb 3.0 port while the Micro USB 2.0 port provides the power with the above powered Micro USB 3.0 adapter and the supplied Micro USB 2.0 cable.
Combination 2:
*This would be pretty much the same as combination 1 with the supplied USB 2.0 OTG cable but instead this combination 2 would allow you to use any of the Micro USB 2.0/3.0 ports on the tablet you choose to be the power supplier while the other acts as the full powered USB (2.0/3.0) port, you will not need the supplied USB 2.0 OTG cable with this combination.
Combination 3:
*This would allow for multiple powered USB 3.0 devices to be connect to the tablet, the only drawback would be is you will need to be stationary as the powered USB 3.0 hub requires power from an AC outlet but would also allow for charging the tablet simultaneously if you so desire.
Final Note:
Combination 1 with the supplied USB 2.0 OTG cable is the most sufficient as the Micro USB 3.0 port is backwards compatible with all USB 2.0 devices and Combination 3 makes a lot of sense the tablet is stationary and you need to connect multiple USB devices to the tablet and would allow for charging the tablet simultaneously, again the USB 3.0 ports on the hub in Combination 3 is backwards compatible with all USB 2.0 devices.
April 7, 2016 at 7:50 am #32360The clip on speaker sure is nice addition, since the speaker in the tablet is so bad when on Windows. When on using on Android it is so much better, you can actually crank up the volume. Even on Windows 100% volume, it is only like Android 50%.
To power USB Harddisk at 3.0 speed, without using any external power and using powered keyboard dock USB ports, I use USB 3 OTG adapter + USB 3 Hub with external micro USB power, like this:

To use USB 3.0, I usually bring my powerbank, where the 2.1A output connected to the tablet, and the 1A output to the USB Hub, so it can be used when charging while providing 1A for the hub usage. You can still power the USB Harddisk when just connect the USB hub power to the USB 2.0 OTG ports.
With the micro USB connected to USB 2.0 otg, it will power the USB harddisk without problem. Please take note that USB 3.0 OTG adapter cable connection is a bit loose on the tablet, or maybe just my USB 3.0 OTG cable is just plain shitty. I prefer just connect it directly to powered USB ports on the keyboard dock rather than has to carry extra USB 3.0 hub.

What’s the difference between those 2 types of screen protectors?
April 26, 2016 at 8:57 am #35114What’s the difference between those 2 types of screen protectors?
One is tempered glass, and one is just plastic.
If you are buying tempered glass, please take note that if you are using keyboard dock, it will have around 2mm gap, and the top rubber of the keyboard dock will go flat over time (mine already does). If you manage to crack the tempered glass, it is not easy to replace since it sticks so well (the tablet screen is plastic, not glass). Also it is quite easy to crack it since plastic screen can flex a bit rather than glass screen.
I do still recommend you to use tempered glass though, it looks so much better and easier to clean (oleo phobic coating) . Also much more resistant to scratch than standard plastic screen protector. A bit expensive though, and huge risk of crack when shipping.
