Adding a textured coating to the back of the tablet

Love my mix plus but due to it’s size and weight it tends to fall out of my hand (when using just one).  It tends to slide because the back is so smooth.  I’d like to know if anyone ever considered or attempted a spray on rubber or something similar.  There is a video of a Samsung galaxy phone doing the same thing (2010).

The plastidip you can just peel off if you change your mind.  I know I can use a case but that would interfere with my usage of an Ipega-9023 gaming controller.

Or maybe someone else has a different or better idea?  Maybe there is a film or cling material I could stick onto the back?

What about using a skin? A more grippy textured one you could have cut out for it. I think there is anyone that makes skins for these brands of tablets.

Great idea, I’m going to look for a tablet/laptop skin now.  A lot less work then painting etc.

Apply a cheap polymer screen protector to the back of the tablet, like

then spray a non-skid paint on the protector.  You can oversize the protector, mask the edges, spray paint, then trim the protector with an sharp blade, thereby avoiding painting the sides or screen of the tablet.
