I am no expert here but as reading through the forum when they release dual os firmware and android rom for x98 Plus it should not be that hard to flash it. But excpect some hicups along the way. It is cheaper to get x98 plus win version and flash it yourself but the price differece is not that big and you could save yourself some possible fashing problems and time. That is of course if you are willing to wait until dual OS x98 plus comes out. If you want tablet ASAP then go ahead and buy it and you could have it home by christmas or couple of days later( shipping option dependant) and flash it later. It is all up to you. Owerall i dont think it will be that hard to flash it yourself, with all the help you can get from members of this forum and Chris. Do get some more opinions from others but i would go for it now and get to play with it ASAP.It is AWESOME tabet in my opinion!

Thanks a lot Peter for your reply.
I had a look again on the X98 pro section and saw the possible hiccups.
I decided to wait a little bit longer for the dual boot version. I figured out that it won’t reach me before the new year any way, so why not wait a little bit longer.
December 25, 2015 at 1:05 pm #19891Kurnugi, Teclast wrote me that the X98 Plus Dual Boot will be out end of January 2016. Hope you didn’t order yet.

December 25, 2015 at 4:19 pm #19901Hmm.. TinyDeal already accepts orders at 225$ while Banggood put it up for 200$ butbdoes not accept orders yet. I’m 95% sure this is my next tablet but it shouldn’t be more than 200$ really considering the Pro model is around 240$.

December 29, 2015 at 3:38 pm #20400Will the price of the Windows only version drop when dual boot is released, or is that just wishful thinking?
