Don’t think it by the sounds of it. Any issues, is it alright the keyboard? No lag?
The locked out bios with no power limits came around Version 4.5 / V5 first. V4 was the one that first introduced the precision touchpad, but fist batches had the FORSEE slow eMMC which is the one I have. But I have no keyboard, bios ssd issues or anything only the slow eMMC.Chris | Admin

Nope….no keyboard lag, and the emmc is around 170 read and 100 write.

I tried to get windows installed to ssd ( Kingspec 128 ) but it didn’t work. Emmc speeds are quite nice anyway (220 read /110 write), so I am also using ssd as extra space.

March 18, 2018 at 7:17 pm #140773Bios didn’t recognise ssd as bootable device, I tried also do dual boot windows ( original on emmc and new one on ssd), but it didn’t work either ( got windows error Status: 0xc0000225, 0xc000000e, Missing Winload.efi ). Anyway I think that unlocking bios might help but it is too much hassle, so I keep the computer as is it now.

Do you not consider to sent it back? I would. If my ssd comes this week (also kingspec 128) and bios doesn’t recognize it…. I wil sent it back. Not because i need it to work but because it is an advertised option that doesn’t work

It’s advertised that you can expand your storage with SSD, but it was never said you could run Windows off of it.

i have ezbook 3 pro v4.
i bought kingspec 256 ssd but bios does not see it.
I want to install ssd and windows 10 but it does not boot.
ssd does not appear in boot options anyway.
my bios also have only 4 tabs.
how we will solve this.

It’s advertised that you can expand your storage with SSD, but it was never said you could run Windows off of it.
So it is random if it works or not? How did Chris get it to work then….. He got lucky or we do something wrong with bios setting?

Chris, you have a SSD installed yes ? Does the Jumper boot with it ?

It says in the description that it is for Jumper Ezbook 3 pro….maybe a solution ???? Can it be that there are “special” SSD for our Jumper version ?
March 20, 2018 at 11:47 am #140856Guys The New Version of Jumper comes with locked BIOS and because of them you can Not Clone or Run Windows over The SSD and did you read The description in Gearbest you can expand The Storage with SSD and Not Run Windows over SSD Just when you are Happy with The emmc speed 220/100 MB then do nothing and install The SSD for extra storage Just Run your Games over The SSD and when you want to increase your Power Just use The Tool in The Forum a User shared IT .
When your Not Happy with this then you have to do is unlock The BIOS and keep going with other Options!

All good but the description DOESN’T say you CAN’T run windows of the ssd…… It doesnt say you CAN either, but it is not understandable for me that there are so many different versions with different BIOS. I think an update should ADD features, not take them away. So they should stay with the boot option and all the unlocked stuff, not close the whole thing down. Add dual AC as they did, add a better eMMc.
And why is there no easy way to flash the bios like on desktop pc’s or am i missing that ?
