Android emulator vs Android dual boot

I’m currently awaiting the Chuwi Hi13. Took me some time searching online about laptops/tablets/hybrids.

I’ve observed that dropping my dual boot preference opens me up for faster devices with faster processors. It’s gotten me thinking if it might be better to go for a core M tablet and then just use an Android emulator with it. I’ve never used an emulator for Android before. Is the experience slow?

Opting for emulators might be better because one wouldn’t have to deal with file partitions for the separate OS’s.

I also found this tempting deal online: https://www.productchart.com/tablets/11978 – a refurbished core i5 for $300 that may be able to run an android emulator well

Using emulators may also give the clear advantage of seamlessness of minimizing/multitasking instead of separate booting.

I didn’t test Android emulator on my tablet yet but I use with no problems with my laptop also Windows 10, I need Android for work, I tested some and only Memu goes well with my work stuff.

You really found a great deal! It will run an Android emulator well, my laptop is just a little better than it.

Any disadvantages of using Memu compared to full android? I’ve heard all emulators cannot use non-fake gps function.

I wanna play real pokemon go emulated on a windows 10 tablet without any gps spoofing.

Emulators can use fake GPS, I don’t recommend depending what you are doing.

AFAIK Memu can run Pokemon Go, I didn’t test myself because I prefer to play with my phone, my tablet is WiFi only, we don’t have too much public WiFi spots here, I need the mobile connection.

No problem! If you can get a Pokémon Go Plus as well I recommend, you can capture Pokémons and use Pokéstops without pulling your device.
