    i have Teclast X98 dual boot with Windows 8.1 (update now to the Windows 10) and the original Android.

    i would like to restore only android to factory settings without breaking anything, in particular so dual boot.

    how should I proceed?

    I have not tried the original ROM but tried the Mirek190’s one.  I reset to factory setting by Settings -> Backup and Reset  -> Factory Reset (or similar wordings, because I gave my X98 to a student so I don’t have it now)
