To use Manufacturing Flash Tool with Chuwi Hi8:

    1. Make sure Intel-Android driver (IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.10.0) & iSoC USB driver (iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0) are both installed.
    2. Download Custom_Config.ini from the link below.
    3. Extract it from the .zip file and put it in the Manufacturing Flash Tool’s install directory.
    4. Change your Manufacturing Flash Tool settings accordingly as shown in the Chinese tutorial provided in the downloads section for the Hi8.
    5. Load the flash.xml from your android ROM using Manufacturing Flash Tool.
    6. Plug in your tablet in DnX mode and wait for flash to complete.

NOTE: You will have to reinstall Windows after performing these steps.

thank you for the tutorial but it’s exactly what I did except for some newer drivers.

I try with another PC as well as other version drivers but it does not exceed the stage of “11/22/15 12: 46: 16,275 INFO: Ready to flash”.
I do not understand above all that I have another rooter HI8 with ADB so drivers operate.

Try flashing your android BIOS first. Follow the steps in the tutorial for making a bootable USB drive, and download the android BIOS (7mb file). You’ll need a USB drive & USB hub to do this. (Note: this will remove touchscreen support on Windows OS, which you can reinstall later)

    That’s worked.
It was indeed a driver problem I install IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.10.0 and more worries, I could flash without any worries.
    I have reinstalled windows 10 in 14min.

    Thank you
