November 22, 2015 at 9:16 am #16343To use Manufacturing Flash Tool with Chuwi Hi8:
- Make sure Intel-Android driver (IntelAndroidDrvSetup 1.10.0) & iSoC USB driver (iSocUSB-Driver-Setup-1.2.0) are both installed.
- Download Custom_Config.ini from the link below.
- Extract it from the .zip file and put it in the Manufacturing Flash Tool’s install directory.
- Change your Manufacturing Flash Tool settings accordingly as shown in the Chinese tutorial provided in the downloads section for the Hi8.
- Load the flash.xml from your android ROM using Manufacturing Flash Tool.
- Plug in your tablet in DnX mode and wait for flash to complete.

NOTE: You will have to reinstall Windows after performing these steps.
November 22, 2015 at 10:25 am #16349thank you for the tutorial but it’s exactly what I did except for some newer drivers.
November 22, 2015 at 11:48 am #16362I try with another PC as well as other version drivers but it does not exceed the stage of “11/22/15 12: 46: 16,275 INFO: Ready to flash”.
I do not understand above all that I have another rooter HI8 with ADB so drivers operate.November 22, 2015 at 12:20 pm #16363Try flashing your android BIOS first. Follow the steps in the tutorial for making a bootable USB drive, and download the android BIOS (7mb file). You’ll need a USB drive & USB hub to do this. (Note: this will remove touchscreen support on Windows OS, which you can reinstall later)
November 22, 2015 at 1:27 pm #16371That’s worked.
It was indeed a driver problem I install IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.10.0 and more worries, I could flash without any worries.
I have reinstalled windows 10 in 14min.Thank you
