Hello,
I’m looking for a cheap Android tablet that can function as an Data Acquisition system for my car. It needs to have at least 2GB of RAM and score at least 1500 in the Geekbench Multicore benchmark. Good software support would be nice, I don’t want to be stuck on an ancient version of Android forever, or deal with bloatware. I was hoping for Cyanogenmod support but it seems like they focus on Qualcomm powered devices rather than Intel.
It needs to have an accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, and bluetooth support (for external GPS and OBD). Internal GPS would be nice for everyday use when not on the track.
I know there exists Chinese phones that meet these requirements, but I’m spoiled by large displays on new cars and would love a 7-8inch tablet in mine.
Do any of these Chinese tablets meet these requirements? I’d rather not drop $500+ on a Samsung one if possible.
Thanks so much,
-k
