Hi, I was wondering if anyone has managed to remove windows completely and just install android?
Ive had a play around the system and looked at it with paragon and there are lots of partitions. I know drive:i is the android system (and obviously C: is Windows) but there are a load more partitions, some of them are not accessible (only small though).
Im not keen on merging any of the partitions as some of them I have no idea of what’s inside as I suspect the bios is in one of them because I cant find this anywhere else. Ive had a look look around for the other intel chipset dual doot devices and there are a lot of people removing android to only have windows installed but no one doing the opposite, however there are a few that have accidentally flashed Android and lost windows but no explanation of what they have done or whether it still partitioned android to the same 7Gb drive.
If anyone has any idea how to safely do this then I would greatly appreciate any info as im not keen on keeping windows and would much prefer a fully android tablet. Dont get me wrong, Windows 10 is good I just dont find it practical on an 8″ device and I have a laptop running Windows 10 anyway -I dont want windows 8 as its a terrible OS (on par with the Vista debacle) but Android is great and hopefully soon there will be 5.1 firmware floating around soon.
