Anniversary Update for new computer?

I think My Cube should have arrived today, probably it will be tomorrow when I am out. Anyway, I am wondering about what is likely to happen with the Anniversary update. Is it possible it will start downloading as soon as I launch Windows? Or is MS suspending the update at present because of the problems it has caused? I realise some of this will depend on Settings —- is automatic update the default (as Microsoft wants it to be)? Less important to me, is will Android update automatically to Marshmallow, as it did with the Android tablet I am having to use now?
