You need the right touchsetting.gt file. Search for it, we’ve talked about this many times.
For the os selection boot menu, on the left corner you have a tick. If you click on it (to untick) you’ll be able to deactivate.

Well it seems like i cannot upload the TouchSetting.gt file to you guys, but i am going to put in a text format. You will have to rename it in Notepad with the “gt” extension at the end and change the “Save as type” to All Files. Hope this will help you guys.

hi guys, thx for your help and the files 😉 it solved the calibration issue; one thing I still notice though, is that sometimes I have to press the touscreen a bit “harder” than my wife’s toshiba encore 2 tablet and my cellphone; is there anything else I can tweak or having switched the registry thing from 8 to 2 is all we can do…?!

hi svega, thanks for the file, but I already did that, it improved somewhat but still not as good as the toshiba… I guess the few extra €’s the encore 2 costed make a difference.. 🙁

Hi Vitor,  i have experience similar touch sensitivity issues as what Vitor is experiencing, it is not as bad initial when i got the tablet because i did some registry tweak (switching some registry values from 8 to 2) which help a lot, but i have a glass screen protector over the screen so i do not know if that is what is messing with the touch sensitivity.

I could remove the screen protector and test it to see its causing my problems but the screen protector is perfectly align on the screen and with no air bubbles underneath it, which is good and i do not not want to mess that up. And also my touch sensitivity is not that bad as i mostly used the android side of the tablet.

Anyway do you guys know where i could get an anti glare/matte screen protector for the teclast x98 plus tablet, I read a lot on this tablet and glare is really starting to affect my eyes.
