Damn thing ate my first post.
I figure as long as you are flashing a BIOS image, might as well make it 2.02.
I will attach the image to this post.
Although I am far from convinced you issue is BIOS related.Attachments:

I was messing about with some battery bios settings and a black screen and warm tablet. No way to power it on. If your in the EU I can flash it for you if you over the postage. I have recovered two tablets now using a USB EEPROM programmer and clip.
Edit: Were you in the bios or flashing it before this happened? If not it could be something else like the screen.

Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30July 11, 2015 at 5:35 pm #6792Glad to hear it, I didn’t know that a corrupted flash image could cause such power drain.
I bought my USB flasher in advance, just in case 🙂July 11, 2015 at 6:33 pm #6794Thanks for the fast replies
Yes I had the thought about a faulty screen too, any easy way to check it ?
It happened after a windows update, and a lil fiddling here and there, but nothing big 🙂 yes there was another issue, I couldn’t connect it to my LT !
I’m working in Indonesia right now but will be back Scandinavia in November, so if everything go wrong I will gladly send it to you, at least it can be used for spare parts if the problem shows up to be faulty hardware
But first I will give it a try to flash X98_Air_3G_Dual.zip via the programmer and test clip (there isn’t anything to lose anyway 🙂
Hopefully it will kick some life into itAll ideas and inputs will be checked out
So keep them coming 🙂PS. If you buy from the seller Future Electronic Aliexpress, or anywhere else at that great site, then hesitate to confirm your order until you’re 99.9% sure everything works perfectly- it can take days to check that out, from that second you confirm, there is no support at all, but I guess its a part of the charm 🙂
BTW The seller asked me to insert a needle in a hole below volume button, to restart it ????????July 11, 2015 at 6:58 pm #6796It’s good to be a prepper 🙂 I have two friends in Denmark who struggles with different issues on their C5J6 as heating, superfast battery drain, freezing etc.
I don’t know if it have something to do with the product number=general issues or if min is a Monday-Tablet 🙂Glad to hear it, I didn’t know that a corrupted flash image could cause such power drain.
I bought my USB flasher in advance, just in case 🙂July 11, 2015 at 7:08 pm #6799Yes, the vendor I bought my X98 from has a special charm too.
They are called Geekbuying, and they have support people on the site in Live chat.
They are VERY helpful in helping you make a decision to buy, but they fail to tell you that if you need post sale support, you have to sent an email to an address that is largely ignored. I didn’t get any support until I used the magic words Paypal DisputeJuly 12, 2015 at 5:05 am #6814yes a PP dispute, get them back to the keyboard 🙂 unfortunately PP is blocked out here at Indonesia, so I have to rely that the seller have a business pride
As Suggested it could be the screen as well as the bios as well as>
So next step must now be to check out the screen
Is it the connection right below the Wi-Fi antenna ?
Tomorrow I will see if it’s possible to loan a screen somewhere in Denpasar 🙂Chris thanks for all the great videos !!!
July 15, 2015 at 4:19 pm #7028It wasn’t the screen, it should be all fine according the Asus dealer-technician
So now I am just waiting a small package from Aliexpress with the programmer and test clip
But that project is postponed a bit, Bali have some quite long holidays going on right now, but hopefully next week the package will arrive
And even more hopeful, it will be the week where C5J6 wake up from the dead again, if not, you can hear me cry out loud 🙂
Next step will probably be to get over it, lets see 🙂
The good thing is my Cube T9 have been absolutely flawless from day one, so it keeps me up so far!July 16, 2015 at 8:26 pm #7083So it must be the bios then which is not letting it boot up.
