    This is ridiculous I should be receiving an X98 plus in a couple days, should I not connect it to the internet so I dont brick it?

    Its currently back in China, supply returning it to factory for assement / repair

    Did a Windows update brick it? Was it updating, do you know?

    Please support us and help keep TechTablets online. Affiliate revenue is used to pay for the server, studio apartment (Techtablets HQ) and buy new tech to review. Without it, this site would be dead.

    It had just done the large Windows 10 update (new version), and appeared to be running fine. I’m guessing it did a driver update whilst I was away from it. Now just waiting, it arrived back in China last week.

    Just had notification its on its way back. From other entries on here I gather its now safe to allow it to update.

    It’s back, well its actually a different one, different serial number.  The Android is missing playstore, so have has to source it and install from sdcard and update play services to get everything to work/install.
